“Alive in Joberg” This is the short film that director Neill Blomkamp did and based District 9 on. It’s interesting to see how his vision of aliens coming to Earth and living in the ghettos of South Africa evolved from this 6-minute long film—which is awesome in and of itself—to District 9. Excellent stuff.
